Founded by entrepreneurial brothers Konrad and Richard Stutzmann in 1978, the co-founders' mission was, and still is, to provide various refreshments conveniently and cost-effectively to the many businesses and organizations encompassing the growing communities in Southern New Jersey. Presently, seven family members actively manage the company on a day-to-day basis, which means a K&R decision maker is only a telephone call a way.

In 1995, K&R was the first vending services company in the entire state of New Jersey to utilize handheld computers to track vending machines sales transactions, product inventory and maintenance.
